Every year there seems to be another threat to our health that the media exploits. As most people are aware, the air in our homes sometimes is more contaminated than the outdoors. LeBlanc Heating has been investigating this issue for years. After researching many products, we have chosen Sanuvox air purifiers for several reasons. Using proprietary UV technology, the Sanuvox In-Duct Ultraviolet Air Sterilization System is designed to maximize exposure time between the air and the UV germicidal energy. The UV system has been proven to deliver the optimal UV germicidal dosage, penetrating the cell membrane, destroying the DNA structure of the virus.
I personally have installed one in my home due to my youngest child at the time had respiratory issues which were dramatically reduced immediately. I have since installed air purifiers in most of my families’ homes. We have one in our office and the LeBlanc Family have them in their homes as well. We have installed units in our customers’ homes and businesses. They have given us testimonials that are very impressive. For example, in many Doctors’ offices which have had their office staff pick up viruses year after year, they now tell us that after installing a Sanuvox, no one became ill. Many federal buildings also started to install these in public buildings after the anthrax scare.
In light of the growing concern of the 2009 H1N1 virus (Swine Flu) and the beginning of the back-to-school season for millions of American students, LeBlanc Heating wishes to inform the public on the ability of Sanuvox UV Air Sterilization Systems to destroy airborne biological contaminants including viruses, bacteria and bacterial spores. Installed into the ventilation system, the Sanuvox UV Air Sterilization System achieved on a single pass with no recirculation: a >99.97% destruction on S. marcescens bacteria, 99% destruction on the MS2 virus and 93% destruction on B. atrophaeus bacterial spore.
McGill University in Montreal Canada has tested the Sanuvox portable / stand-alone UV Air Sterilization System (P900GX) against tuberculosis, and achieved a destruction rate of 90%. Testing of Sanuvox UV Systems have been completed by the US Environmental Protection Agency, the National Homeland Security Research Center.
