We Know
Danville Homes.

Danville is a quiet, rural town in the interior of Rockingham County. The 2020 census counted 4,408 people. Most residents live in homes spread across wooded lots that run on private well and septic.

Housing: Most of Danville's homes are single-family houses, built between the 1970s and the 2000s. The biggest push came in the 1980s and 1990s. Drive the older neighborhoods and you'll see colonials, capes, and ranches, plus farmhouses still standing from the town's early days. Manufactured and mobile homes make up close to one in ten of the town's homes. Nearly all homes townwide are owner-occupied, and there is no natural gas service in town.

Danville is home to the Old Meeting House, also known as the Hawke Meetinghouse. It is New Hampshire's oldest meetinghouse of original construction, and it survives in substantially original condition with a notably preserved interior. Construction began in 1755, the building was standing by 1760, and it joined the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The town was first incorporated as Hawke in 1760, named for British Admiral Edward Hawke, and renamed Danville at the 1836 Town Meeting.

Heating in Danville

Danville has no natural gas service. Homes here heat with oil or propane, and the propane is delivered to an onsite tank. A lot of the older housing still runs on aging oil boilers and furnaces, so replacing those systems with new oil or propane equipment keeps us busy. Plenty of the ranches and capes were built without ductwork, which is why we also do boiler-to-heat-pump conversions and ductless mini split retrofits for homeowners looking to burn less oil. Utility rooms and closets in these houses tend to be tight, so we size every job to fit.

Cooling

Air Conditioning &
Mini Split Installation

Cooling in Danville

Ductless mini splits and heat pumps handle most of the cooling in Danville, especially the older homes and ranches that were never set up for central air. A cold-climate heat pump adds air conditioning and carries a good chunk of the heating too, which trims oil and propane use. Houses that already have ductwork can take central air, and we install and replace that as well. We match the equipment to the house instead of oversizing the system.

Cooling Services We Provide

Danville homeowners can call us for central air conditioning, heat pumps, and ductless mini splits. Our team has installed thousands of ductless systems throughout Southern NH. We respond quickly for summer breakdowns and full system replacements.

Water treatment and filtration by A.J. LeBlanc Heating in Danville, NH
Water Treatment

Filtration, Softeners
& Testing

Water Treatment in Danville

Danville's drinking water comes almost entirely from the ground. Most homes use private bedrock wells, and several smaller community systems serve other properties. Local aquifer conditions vary, so well yield and chemistry can change from one address to the next.

That is why we work from the home's laboratory results. Depending on the water, treatment may include sediment filtration, iron or manganese filtration, a softener, or an oxidizing or aeration-and-carbon system for confirmed sulfur odor. Separate results may support whole-house ultraviolet treatment for bacteria or whole-house arsenic filtration or under-sink reverse osmosis.

If testing identifies radon in well water, we can provide contact information for an independent mitigation company. Community-system customers should begin with the report for their monitored supply.

Water Treatment Services We Provide

We provide water-treatment installation and service in Danville. Independent laboratory results guide every private-well recommendation, from drinking-water filtration to complete whole-house treatment.

Plumbing in Danville

Well flow can vary between Danville properties, so treatment equipment must be sized to the water available at the home. When low pressure affects the entire house, we inspect the well tank, pressure switch, and related controls. Our other plumbing work includes leaking faucets and pipes, running toilets, failed shutoffs, inconsistent hot water, and slow drains.

Issues limited to one fixture stay focused on that fixture and the pipes serving it.

We handle plumbing repairs and equipment replacements for Danville homes. Our work includes leaking fixtures, water heaters, household piping, well tanks, pressure switches, and related controls.
