Common Questions

New Construction Electrical FAQ

Do you work with builders and general contractors?

Yes. A.J. LeBlanc Heating takes on new construction electrical alongside your general contractor. We coordinate with your GC on scheduling, phasing, and inspections so the electrical stays on track with the rest of the build.

Do you handle the electrical permit?

Yes. We pull the electrical permit and coordinate the rough and final inspections with the local Southern NH building department and the utility for the service connection.

What is electrical rough-in on a new home?

Rough-in is the first phase. We set the service entrance, meter, and panel, then run all the wiring, boxes, and home runs through the framing before insulation and drywall. After the walls are closed, we trim out the devices, fixtures, and panel and complete the final inspection.

Can you wire a new home to be EV and heat-pump ready?

Yes. We size the service and panel for the way homes are powered today and run the dedicated circuits and provisions for EV chargers, heat pumps, standby generators, and whole-home surge protection, so the home is ready for them now or later.
