A.J. LeBlanc Heating would like to warn our customers (Specifically our customers whom own a Fujitsu, Mitsubishi or Navien) of the risk associated with portable power supplies (Generators). Many of today’s HVAC systems and appliances have sensitive electronic controls that are vulnerable to the fluctuations and "dirty" power supplied by a typical portable generator. Some electronics may function for a while but may suffer incremental damage over time – and some may simply refuse to work at all. Inventors and automatic voltage regulators may be used to help clean up dirty power supplies, in fact many high-end "electronics friendly" portable generators and standby generators include these safety devices.

We would also like to remind our customers that starting your portable generator periodically is a good routine procedure and helps to keep it in peak operating condition.
