Job Overview:

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure the highest level of service quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on various HVAC systems, including furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, ventilation systems, and water heaters.

Diagnose system issues, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate solutions to customers.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to effectively troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment.

Collaborate with customers to explain the nature of repairs, provide estimates, and answer any questions or concerns.

Keep accurate records of service visits, maintenance tasks, and repair activities using digital systems.

Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in HVAC systems.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on-site and in company vehicles.

Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completed vocational or technical training in HVAC systems is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician, with a focus on diagnosing and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA 608, NATE, etc.) are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including electrical components, refrigeration, airflow, and controls.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve system malfunctions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Solid knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to HVAC work.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
