Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be licensed to apply?
EPA 608 certification is required for HVAC service work, and an NH service gas license or NORA oil heat certification is a plus. Installers and apprentices can start without them. We reimburse approved training and licensing.
Is the work year-round or seasonal?
Year-round. Our reputation and more than 30,000 customers keep us busy in every season, and because we cover heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, and generators, the work does not slow down when the weather changes.
What benefits do you offer?
Health and dental insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off and holidays, life insurance, uniforms, a company-stocked truck, and training and licensing reimbursement.
What is the schedule, and is there on-call?
A daytime weekday schedule with a fair on-call rotation. Only one person is on call at a time, and never more than a single day in a row, so the after-hours load is shared evenly across the team instead of landing on the same person week after week.
Where is the job located?
Our shop is in Bedford, NH and we serve homeowners throughout Southern New Hampshire.
How do I apply, and how long does it take?
