How It Works

We diagnose the issue and explain what we found, in plain English.

We review options and costs. Once approved, we complete the repair and verify operation.

We keep repair billing simple and fair. Hourly billing means you’re paying for the time needed for your repair, not a one-size-fits-all flat price.

No trip charges or diagnostic fees.
1-hour minimum. If your issue is diagnosed and fixed within that hour, that’s all you pay (plus any parts if needed).
After the first hour, billed in 15-minute increments.
Clear communication. We explain what we found and your options before moving forward.

Thermostat is set to Heat or Cool and the setpoint is above/below room temp.
Replace thermostat batteries (if applicable) and confirm it’s powered on.
Check the breaker and any system switches (if safe).
Make sure the filter isn’t completely clogged and vents/returns aren’t blocked.
If you see an error code, snap a photo of it for us.

Gas smell: leave the area and call your gas utility / emergency services.
Burning smell, sparking, or repeated breaker trips: shut the system off and call.
Water leaking around equipment: shut the system off to prevent damage and call.
CO alarm: follow the alarm instructions and call immediately.
